The 40th annual Murrells Inlet Boat Parade will start at 6 pm on July 4. This year’s parade theme is Made in the USA. Salute from the Shore

All Beaches in South Carolina

Head to the Myrtle Beach coast around 1 pm on July 4 to take part in one of the most unique 4th of July events in Myrtle Beach: Salute from the Shore. Two F-16s from Shaw Air Force Base and a C-17 from Charleston Air Force Base will fly over the shore, preceded by vintage aircrafts flown by volunteer pilots.

Following the Boat Parade, Murrells Inlet will host their annual fireworks show at 10 pm on July 4. 

  • Barefoot Landing

The Barefoot Landing 4th of July fireworks will begin at 10 pm on July 4. Arrive early to shop, dine, or check out the attractions on-site.

MUSIC ON MAIN CONCERT SERIES – AUG. 18TH – SEPT. 29TH (THURS)

Just 30 minutes north of Coral Beach Resort & Suites, guests can enjoy the Music on Main Concert Series in North Myrtle Beach. Starting at 4:00 p.m. each Thursday, Main Street from Ocean Blvd. to Melt Ice Cream is blocked off for the event. Even though the streets are closed, businesses around the event will remain open for dining, shopping, and fun. Music on Main is a FREE weekly fall event in Myrtle Beach that’s fun for the entire family. Bring your beach chairs to reserve your spot for the concert. FALL CONCERTS AT LA BELLE AMIE VINEYARD – SEPT. 3RD – 24TH (SAT)

Live music is back at La Belle Amie Vineyard’s fall festivals in Myrtle Beach. Each Saturday in September enjoy music from island vibes to jazz and blues. Each concert will vary in genre but all will include delicious wines and beautiful scenery. Bring your blankets and chairs and get ready for an afternoon filled with great music and memories. SOUNDS OF SUMMER CONCERT – Sept. 16th

Head to Brookgreen Gardens any day before November 30th to catch this fall event near Myrtle Beach. The 15th Annual From Chaos to Beloved Community African American fiber artist exhibit follows the theme of envisioning an inclusive future and features 19 pieces with traditional and non-traditional fiber techniques. The traveling exhibit was curated by award-winning textile artist Torreah “Cookie” Washington from Charleston, SC. Visit the Lowcountry Center Auditorium at Brookgreen Gardens to see this impressive and inspiring collection.

ANNUAL LITTLE RIVER SHRIMPFEST – Oct. 8th – 9th

A festival that even Forrest Gump would approve of—the 17th Annual Little River ShrimpFest is slated for the weekend of October 8th – 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day at the Historic Little River Waterfront. The weekend will include live entertainment from several popular local bands, a wide array of local arts and crafts vendors, games and activities for children, and—of course—plenty of shrimp. The Annual Taste of the Town event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 18th at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and promises to be bigger and better than ever! Things To Do In Myrtle Beach In November

MYRTLE BEACH MILITARY HISTORY TOUR – SEPT. 23RD – MAR. 2ND

Take a trolley tour of historic Myrtle Beach military locations on select Fridays from September to March. Current availability for November is the 4th, but check the tour calendar for additional dates. The tour includes a catered reception at Tupelo Honey in the Market Common with a presentation by a historic figure who was part of the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base’s heritage. Trolley boarding begins at 1:45 p.m., and the tour lasts about 2 hours. Stops include Warbird Park, the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center, and the Norton General Aviation Terminal. This is an interesting tour any time of the year but is especially appropriate around Veterans’ Day.

BREW AT THE ZOO – NOV. 5TH

Do you enjoy good brews and good tunes? Then the annual Brew at the Zoo event is calling your name! Enjoy the fantastic fall weather and sip on more than 30 regional craft beers as you peruse the local wildlife exhibits and take in all that Brookgreen Gardens has to offer. The event features live entertainment from The Paul Grimshaw Band, beer tastings included with your admission, and food vendors. The cost of a ticket is $50 per person or $25 for designated drivers, and you must be 21 or older to attend. In the event of rain, Brew at the Zoo will move to Nov. 6th. VETERANS’ DAY CEREMONY – NOV. 11TH

The annual Veteran’s Day ceremony in Myrtle Beach takes place at the Convention Center. This fall event focuses on the history and future of military service and recognizes veterans from every conflict and branch. Listen to guest speakers, enjoy a brass band performance, and watch as new recruits take their oaths of office to become active duty soldiers. This festive, respectful ceremony is one of the most patriotic things to do in Myrtle Beach all fall. The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m., but arrive early to enjoy the brass band.

BROADWAY AT THE BEACH TREE LIGHTING – NOV. 12TH

Kick off the holiday season at a tree lighting celebration. The family-friendly event begins at 6:00 p.m. and features live entertainment with special guests. What better time to get everyone in the holiday spirit than as the weather starts turning cool. The tree lighting is followed by a Fireworks Extravaganza at 8:00 p.m. Check the Broadway at the Beach events calendar for more details. While the tree lighting might seem early, Christmas events on the Grand Strand often begin in November.

OYSTER ROAST FUNDRAISER – NOV. 26TH

Timmy Ray’s 15th Annual Oyster Roast is a parking lot bash on 1st Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach. The event begins at 10:00 a.m. and includes live music and a feast of fresh oysters, all emceed by local radio stations. The proceeds of this fall fundraising event go to TR’s Cancer Fighters, a local organization that provides financial assistance to those affected by cancer. Admission is $55 per person. ANNUAL OYSTER ROAST – NOV. 12TH

Oyster season is almost here – are you ready to indulge in this prime local catch? This event is always a huge hit with locals and visitors alike – and it’s not hard to see why! The fun will take place in the Wicked Tuna parking area along the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk and will offer “all you can eat” oysters while supplies last. There will also be plenty of live entertainment throughout the afternoon, several local vendors, arts and games for the kids and drink specials along the MarshWalk. The 18 Annual Oyster Roast will be held on November 12th from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
